The goal of this project was to create an interactive map and guide for a specific subject.  I chose to provide a guide for local beach bars in San Diego.  I based my research and design on various personas/preferences, particularly college students, tourists, and local workers.  I chose soft, summer colors that would remind the user of the beach and brighten their mood.  I chose a thick, brush pen font similar to iconic "California" signs and billboards, in addition to a clean sans serif font for the more text-heavy sections.  The icons I used are thin, white outlines to keep a light, airy theme. In addition to the guide and reviews for each location, the app also provides information on popular drinks, as well as the option to use a ride-share service.
